Hi guys! I've been in S&D since my freshman year, and I've competed in just about every debate event except LD and Big Questions. I also compete in extemporaneous speech as well. I've really stuck with speech and debate because of the community it creates. Everyone is working towards eloquence, confidence, and connections, and it's incredible to see. I'm so excited to work with everyone this year and see all the amazing students progress!

Hi everyone! I joined debate during my junior year and quickly developed a passion for it. I primarily compete in Lincoln-Douglas Debate, where I placed at UIL Regionals, but I also thoroughly enjoy World Schools Debate and hope to compete in it more this year. I’m excited to serve as Vice President and help make this season fun, welcoming, and successful for both new and returning members!

Hey everyone! I joined debate at the beginning of my junior year, and it quickly became one of the best experiences of high school. I mainly competed in Lincoln-Douglas Debate while also participating in Congressional Debate and a little Extemporaneous Speaking. Through speech and debate, I’ve learned how to think critically, view issues from different perspectives, and become more confident when speaking in front of an audience. As a debate officer, I hope to help all of you have the same if not an even better experience than I did.
